The December Meeting will be held December 3, 2015 at 6:00 PM in the History Center at 1008 Main St in Petersburg, In (Across the street form the VFW)

Our meetings will be held the First Thursday of each month unless otherwise scheduled due to conflicts with other events from 6 pm to 8 pm at the History Center (The old Pike County Public Library. Everyone is welcome!

Status of the Genealogy Society

The Edith Barrett Memorial History Center is a joint effort being made by the Pike County Indiana Genealogy Society Corp. and the Pike County Historical Society to further the preservation of historical records, and to make them available to the public. We are also cooperating and coordinating with the Petersburg Public Library in the presentation of these materials.

The Pike County History Center is open on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. We are staffed by wonderful volunteers who share a passion for the history of the people of Pike County. Feel free to stop by
